Islamic Nikah, Divorce & Fatwa Fees

At Darul Ifta London, we provide a range of Islamic services including Nikah and marriage advice, Islamic divorce and Khula, Fatwa and Shariah guidance, mediation and certification services. Our fees depend on the nature and complexity of the service required. Please see the fee structure below. If a matter requires substantial additional research, documentation or administrative work, the fee may vary, and this will be explained to you in advance.

Islamic Services	Fee
Marriage Advice & Divorce Counselling	£50 per session. One session free for former clients.
Islamic Nikah/Marriage Ceremony	£200 within the preferred venue. If outside of London, up to £400
Marriage Certification	£150 where only the marriage Certificate is required.
Duplicate Marriage Certificate	£50 each.
Islamic Divorce / Faskh / Khula (Women)	£400 payable in 3 instalments. May be up to £500 ovarall where additional administrative work is required.
Islamic Divorce (Men)	£300 total. May increase up to £400 where additional administrative work is required.
Mahr Payment Contract	£50 for preparation of a contract where Mahr is to be paid by instalments.
Final Demand Letter & Correspondence	From £20 – £100 depending on the work required.
Divorce Certification	£150 where only certification is required.
Duplicate Divorce Certificate	£50 each.
Fatwa / Islamic Judgment relating to Talaq or Divorce	£50 each. The fee may increase depending on complexity and research required.
FATWA SERVICE: Category 1 — General Questions: FREE Straightforward questions with established rulings. Category 2 — Personal & Detailed: Questions requiring personal assessment, calculation or moderate research. Category 3 — Complex & Specialist: Questions requiring extensive research, detailed analysis, document examination or consideration of complex circumstances.	£10 – £25 £50 – 100
Talaq Certificate by post	£10.
Letters to any Official Bodies	£50 per hour.
