Islamic Education
Mufti Abdur Rahman completed his advanced studies in Islamic theology and traditional Islamic sciences at Jamiah Tawakkulia Renga Madrasa, Sylhet, Bangladesh, achieving distinction in his higher studies, including Dawrah Hadith.
He subsequently specialised in Islamic jurisprudence (Takhassus fil Fiqh/Ifta) at Hathazari Madrasa, Chittagong, Bangladesh, where he achieved first-class results.
Teaching and Scholarly Experience
Mufti Abdur Rahman has extensive experience teaching Islamic sciences and Hadith, including Sahih al-Bukhari. He previously taught at several highest Islamic institutions in Bangladesh, including Jamiah Madania Kazir Bazar, Jamia Islamiah Dewlgram and Jamiah Tawakkulia Renga, Sylhet.
From 2003 to 2006, he served as Shaikhul Hadith at Madinatul Uloom UK, Plaistow, before joining Ford Square Madrasah (London Islamic School) in 2006, where he continues to teach. He also teaches part-time at Al Rawda Educational Institution.

Fatwa & Community Guidance
Mufti Abdur Rahman has extensive experience in issuing Fatawa and addressing questions on Islamic jurisprudence.
He also runs “Aloor Dishari”, an interactive question-and-answer programme on Iqra Bangla TV, through which he provides Islamic guidance to the wider community.
Community & Charitable Work
Alongside his scholarly responsibilities, Mufti Abdur Rahman participates in charitable and community initiatives, including his work with Al Khair Charity.
His efforts reflect a commitment to serving the Muslim community through Islamic guidance, education and charitable engagement.

Mufti Sirajul Haq received his traditional Islamic education in the UK and Bangladesh, beginning with the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an and progressing through the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum.
He completed Dawrah Hadith at Madinatul Uloom, Plaistow, and obtained an Ijazah in Qira’ah from Darul Qiraat Mojidia Fultoli.
Academic Qualifications
Alongside his traditional Islamic education, Mufti Sirajul Haq holds an LLB (Hons) degree from LSBU.
He subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and a Master of Laws (LLM), achieving distinction at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, London.
His academic background combines classical Islamic scholarship with formal legal education.
Specialist Training in Fiqh & Hadith
Mufti Sirajul Haq completed Takhassus fil Fiqh (specialisation in Islamic jurisprudence) under the guidance of Mufti Abdur Rahman.
He also undertook specialist studies in Hadith, further developing his knowledge of the Prophetic traditions and their application within Islamic scholarship.
Teaching and Scholarly Experience
Mufti Sirajul Haq has over 25 years of experience teaching Islamic sciences, including Qur’an memorisation and traditional Islamic studies, at various Islamic institutions, including Madinatul Uloom, Plaistow, UK.
Throughout his teaching career, he has contributed to the religious education and scholarly development of students in the UK and beyond.
Professional Roles & Consultancy
Mufti Sirajul Haq serves as Secretary and Assistant Mufti at Darul Ifta London, contributing to Islamic research, advisory services and guidance on contemporary jurisprudential and family matters.
He also coordinates Islamic courses and provides consultancy and family mediation, drawing on his background in traditional Islamic scholarship and formal legal education.
